Like a person inside your database that never stops working, the Sage Alerts module allows customizable events to be managed and drives alerts out of the database based on conditional changes.

Some of the alerts that could be evaluated:

• Send an email with a copy of the invoice to the customer and the salesperson for past due invoices
• Send an email to a newly-hired employee
• Send a dashboard to the VP of Sales for all new weekly orders over $100,000
• Send a weekly report to the executive team for monthly revenue by territory
• Send a dashboard to the inventory manager on items with negative quantities
